Top Ten Scrapbooking Storage Solutions

Hi Friends!

I had so much fun last month sharing my top ten stocking stuffers that I thought that I would come back this month and share another top ten list of a little different kind. This month, I am kicking off the new year with my top ten scrapbooking storage solutions. These are all storage solutions that I personally use and have found to be really helpful in my craft and small business warehouse space. I hope that you enjoy! Let me know if you have any of these and love/hate them OR if you have an amazing scrapbooking storage system that I missed. Simply click on each title if you wanna check out that specific product! Easy peasy organization for the win in 2020!

rotating craft tower

This craft tower was a gift from my husband for Christmas and I am ABSOLUTELY in love! I have it sitting on the end of my craft desk and love that I can put my most used and loved mixed media products there for easy and quick access. I love that it is stable, rotates, and allows for me to use different compartments for different types of mixed media. I highly recommend the extra set of shelves with this one so that you have even more options! *It also comes in clear if you prefer that look!

FJALLA organizer

This desk organizer has seriously revolutionized my scrapbooking and creating process! I use this organizer to keep my monthly kits—either the ones that I subscribe to or the ones that I create out of my stash. The back compartment is large enough for 12x12 paper and the smaller compartments are perfect for embellishments. This tool is a favorite because it is totally inexpensive, comes in a few different colors/styles, and works beautifully for my creative process. Thank you, IKEA!

washi tape ring

These rings were another game changer in my craft room! Each ring holds like 25-40 washi tape rolls and they hang right over my craft table. It keeps all of my beautiful washi tape close at hand and visible. I have found myself using it SO much more since it was put on these rings. It also makes it easy to grab and take with me to a local crop. **This is a two pack of eight inch rings and such a great deal!

ceramic desk organizer

This Crate Paper organizer is also one of my current craft room favorites. It is ceramic and the most beautiful mint color. It has six little compartments just like a cupcake or muffin pan. I use this on my desk as a place to store my little leftovers. When I finish a project if I have a die cut or two or a couple clips or flair left over, into this container they go! It sits right on my desk and I find myself reaching for those little bits and leftovers so much more often now. Plus, it looks adorable!

kallax

I use these IKEA Kallax cubes in both my personal craft studio and in The Secret Not Secret Kit Club warehouse. They are perfect because the individual cube spaces are larger enough to hold not only individual baskets and organizers but also 12x12 paper and albums. I store everything on these and love how sturdy and clean they look. I seriously could not do what I do without these systems. They come in lots of different sizes, colors, and configurations.

distress ink storage tins

These storage tins are the only place that I store my mini ink pads. They are perfect! Each tin holds twelve mini ink pads and keeps me totally organized, especially when I attend crops and retreats and want my distress inks with me. This is a pretty inexpensive storage tool but something that I use all the time!

raskog

Just one more amazing IKEA find here….these carts are available pretty much everywhere from Target and Walmart to Michaels and IKEA but I have these from IKEA. I use these for literally everything! I have a couple in my craft room that hold supplies, mixed media, pocket page cards, etc. and then I also have a couple in my office that keep my shipping and kit building supplies organized. Next up….I. want to create a mini rolling home library (look these up online if you are an avid reader….they are SO fun). This little guy has been worth every penny!

album

This one might seem a little strange but these leather-bound albums from Hobby Lobby are a hidden treasure. Hear me out on this one….These 12x12 albums come with 50 page protectors pre-filled with white cardstock. (*They are Paper Studio brand which is 50% every other week.)What in the world do I store in these?!?! CUT FILES. They are PERFECTION for storing cut files that I have cut but not yet used on a layout. I simply slide the cut files in and I can see everything I have just by flipping thru but none of the edges get crinkled or the little pieces lost. I use these in my own craft room as well as for the pre-cut cut files that we sell in the shop. These work SO well for this purpose!

magazine files

These paper magazine file boxes are from Totally Tiffany and are sized perfectly for 12x12 paper. They fit inside those Kallax cubes (see above) that I used in all of my storage locations and work perfectly for storing individual sheets of patterned paper and cardstock, mini kits, collection packs, and all sorts of things! I have a couple sections of my Kallax cubes filled with these and they are amazing. Plus, if you wanna grab one and bring it to your desk, it is totally portable!

storage trays

These trays are also a key organizer in my craft room. Although I don’t do a ton of mixed media backgrounds, I have a goal of incorporating a lot more in 2020. These trays are perfect because they fit 12x12 backgrounds. I keep a small stack of them in my craft room so that if I am working with mixed media I can put my layouts in these trays to dry. It keeps them safe from me tending to smear or put something on top of them. You could also totally use these as a paper storage solution!

I hope that you have enjoyed by top ten list of storage solutions that I have found to be super helpful in both my craft studio and my small business warehouse. Although I also use lots of other random organizers (I love Dollar Tree baskets too), these ten tools are things that I have found super useful and worth every penny. Happy organizing!
